Today marked the first session of our latest project in conjunction with Oasis Academy Youth Centre and Parkguard. It is to encourage the young people who own dogs to really learn about their dog and their needs and how they can grow together by teaching them all different aspects of dog training.
The sessions being taught by Simon Woodward are being held in the disused Bowling Pavilion, where Simon really puts his expertise to work. Myself and Sharon were able to sit in on the first lesson and did I learn a lot. I thought I knew all there was to know about dogs…. how wrong I was!!
All who attended were really engaged with what was being taught and it was a great atmosphere. Here’s to the first of many successful sessions.
